How can a you prevent graffiti?
- If you see graffiti vandalism in progress… Call 911. Graffiti is a crime.
- Make every effort to keep the appearance of a facility clean and neat.
- An exterior appearance that suggests apathy and neglect attracts vandals.
- Studies show that removal within 24 to 48 hours results in a nearly zero rate of reoccurrence.

REMEMBER GRAFFITI IS A CRIME!
IDENTIFY. Work with local authorities to identify if the graffiti is being done by gangs or taggers.
DOCUMENT. Take a picture of the graffiti before it is removed. Photographs will assist law enforcement in their investigation.
REMOVE. Remove graffiti promptly and completely.
